In the light of current situations regarding clubs and their unknown memberships. The committee has decided that the upcoming season will start in October this year. However, clubs may submit teams late and join the League up to December. It was felt that this was practical due to the size of our league and with the goodwill and co-operation of members, a workable solution to those clubs that have concerns over player numbers who will be returning to their club in the new season.
So the folowing
1/ Clubs that declare teams pre season make the usual match fixtures as normal
2/ Clubs that feel they can field a team after this date,( up to December) will contact the existing clubs and make fixtures ad lib.
It will be much appreciated if clubs can keep me (Colin Hogan) or any member of the committee up to date with their current situation.
Regarding Kent Membership fees.
Those that have paid monies to Badminton England already and as such had this payment extended to cover the new 2021/2022 season. PLEASE NOTE. Kent BA has not extended their fees and these will be due to kent BA in November. Currenly £6.50 and will have to be paid direct to kent BA as opposed to via the Annual renewal at Badminton England.Contact your club Officials for detail on this
Those that did not pay fees for 2019/2021 will pay their kent BA portion with the annual renewal via Badminton England in the normal way.
Suggestion is that clubs collect this money and forward direct to kent BA. Note: that this only effects members who paid their fees for 2019/2021 to Badminton England.
